I don’t miss daily driving it, and I sure as shit don’t miss putting a gallon of gas in it every 12-13 miles, but I miss having it around. Some day, when I have a family that needs a winter truckster, I’m gonna track down another pre-update LX470 in good shape.

Was it unpleasant to drive as a daily or was it really just the gas mileage that got you? I’ve always assumed they’d make a really comfortable daily.

I wish I could find a non-nav, non beat to crap one. I can find pleasant nav versions all day long.

I’ve been missing my gx470 here lately. Don’t miss the 14 mpg but it was a good driving car.

It was comfortable, but excessively ponderous. I love driving my old A8L, but this was like driving really comfortable truck.

Seime. I vastly prefer the pre-nav ones. Ironically, mine
was
a pre-nav 2001, and by the time we poured over $5000 into work on it, it was in absoultely perfect condition.
